Established in 2022, the Salaam Middle East & North Africa Cultural Center is the newest cultural center at the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign. Salaam is one of the first Middle East and North Africa cultural centers as a division of Student Affairs at a public university to open in the United States.
In alignment with our mission to foster a supportive environment for all members of our university community, Salaam MENA Cultural Center events, programs, and services are open to all eligible persons regardless of race, color or national origin.
